Care and Use
Stainless steel flatware is the easiest flatware to care for. It is usually dishwasher safe, which makes it great for everyday dining. Luster however, will become a soft sterling-like look over many years of use. It is not considered defective, as it is part of the charm of stainless steel. Occasionally cleaning with a stainless steel polish will re-enhance its original shine.
Price Variations
As with any product, the more time it takes to “tool” the design, the more expensive it is. “Tooling” is the art of creating the mold for the items. The more detail in the flatware, the more shape and definition in the pattern, the longer it takes to tool. Therefore, the more detail in a pattern, the higher the price.
